ANITA KEESE ART

Anita Keese is a South African native artist currently residing in New Smyrna Beach, Florida

Anita was raised in Pretoria, South Africa, where her deep affection for animals and nature blossomed. Her artistic creations beautifully capture her ardor for creatures, exhibiting the resplendent hues of the South African skies and landscapes she adored. Anita's expertise lies in crafting captivating animal portraits, and she derives great pleasure from portraying a diverse range of wildlife and domesticated beings on canvas.

Anita currently lives on an 11 acre horse farm in New Smyrna Beach, FL with her partner and their many animals. In addition to their personal animals, they also run a non-profit animal sanctuary which is the home to horses, dogs, cats, pigs, goats, rabbits, birds and other special needs animals. All profits from Anita's artwork go directly to Angel's Animal Sanctuary.

Anita's Inspiration

While growing up in South Africa, Anita has always felt a profound connection with the earth and the animals inhabiting it. She adopted a vegetarian diet at a tender age and has maintained her role as an animal advocate throughout the years. Presently, her pets, as well as rescue animals and the magnificent property where she resides, serve as constant sources of inspiration for her.
